Restoration of the Municipal Gonfalon made in 1869, 
when King of Italy Vittorio Emanuele II 
signed the unification of the Municipalities 
of Castelnovate with the one of Vizzola, 
giving the birth to the Municipality of Vizzola Ticino.
	  
The restoration work, certified by MIB Srl, 
is performed with the integral reinstatement of the original 
embroideries, transferred, utilizing wooden looms with 
traditional artisan techniques, on new supports of 100% pure 
silk with the application of canutiglia fringes, either gold 
bathed or antique made looking via galvanic processes.
